Welcome to the website of the Friends of the Jubilee Hall.

At a special public meeting held by Lesmahagow Community Council on the 22nd of June 2010, The residents of Lesmahagow decided that they should fight to keep the Jubilee Hall open.

Following this meeting, a committee was set up to look into the various options surrounding the Jubilee Hall and decide on the best way forward. Lesmahagow Development Trust have pledged to assist the "Friends of the Jubilee" (FOJ) in their efforts to save the hall.

Fundraising!

It has become immediately apparent that a "Fighting Fund" is going to be required to allow us to continue the fight. To this end, a fundraising dance will be held on the 4th Sept 2010 at 8.00pm There will be a live band & a buffet. Tickets will be £6. Please Email for tickets & more info.

As well as fundraising, expertise is also required. So, if you have particular skills which you think would help us in our campaign, please get in touch by Email or come along to the Dance and make yourself known to us.
